The technology behind AquaCrave
Our patented FlexBeam technology ( Patent No.: US 8,550,280 B2 ) - a flexible beam that seals both the button and the spout, forming a leak-proof water bottle. ONLY when you press the button does the spout open for drinking. NO more hidden complex mechanisms or metal springs that cannot be clean.
Most water bottles have only one opening with no vent but AquaCrave is back vented as the button is pressed, which allows for flow control. The deeper you press the button, the faster you can drink. As soon as the button released, the FlexBeam will automatically push back against the spout to create a leak-proof water bottle.
Easy to Clean
One-push dis-assembly for easy cleaning. Press the button in all the way and the FlexBeam rotates away from the cap for easy cleaning of all surfaces. AquaCrave allows for access to all the surfaces, no hidden areas for mold and mildew to gather. Simply put the dis-assembled AquaCrave cap in the dishwasher for easy cleaning, all the parts are top-rack dishwasher safe. If you need to clean by hand, all the surfaces are exposed.
